Our Journey
My aim is to make ordering a wedding cake as relaxed as possible. Your wedding cake is bespoke to you and your requirements.
1) Initial Enquiry
Give me a call or an email with your basic requirements - date of wedding, your venue, approximate number of guests and don't forget to tell me your contact details! I will then ask some questions to get more information from you and I will also be able to give you a guide price.

2) Securing your date
A £150 booking fee is required to secure your date in my diary. This means you have exclusive use of my time for that week and your wedding cake gets my full attention. You do not need to be ready to confirm any design or flavours yet, we can have a full consultation at a later date.
3) Cake Samples
A box of cake samples is included within your booking fee. If you have secured your date already, you will be offered a box when the next batch is ready (available 3 times a year). The box contains 6 flavours from my menu and they change with each batch, plus 2 mini biscuit favours. If you wanted to taste the cake before securing a date or you'd simply like to try more, the samples are available to order (click here).

4) Consultation
Once you have secured your date, you will be invited to a full consultation of up to 60 minutes where we can discuss all of your requirements. Sketches will be created to help you visualise your design. Additional consultations can be arranged as you plan your big day with other suppliers.
5) Confirming Your Design
I will schedule a follow up phone call with you to finalise your order and confirm your cake design. This is usually done around 4 months before your wedding but ideally before your final balance is due. You will receive a reminder for your final balance, which is due 2 months before your wedding.
6) On The Day
Your wedding cake will be hand delivered to your venue on the morning of your big day. I will contact the venue/event coordinator around 2 weeks before to discuss the delivery to ensure it all goes smoothly. I personally set up all cakes at the venue, stacking the tiers and adding decorations or arranging florals. Any dietary or non-edible information is left with the venue/event coordinator.
