Frequently Asked Questions

Please read below a selection of frequently asked questions and a link to the terms and conditions.

When is the best time to order our wedding cake?

Most of my enquiries come in approximately 12-18 months before the wedding date. This is an ideal time to make your booking, especially if you have booked a date with your venue already. I will take any enquiry up to 2 years in advance.

How much does a wedding cake cost?

All my cakes are bespoke to you, it would be impossible to produce a price list. However, I have a pricing guide which outlines the starting costs for different cake types. This is based on the basic cake decorations are an additional cost.

What areas do you cover?

I can deliver to venues in Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and further afield if the delivery is suitable.

Each order is subject to a delivery fee.

Do you offer cake tastings?

I offer cake samples every 3-4 months, which includes 6 flavours from my menu and the selection changes each time. You can purchase samples before or after making a booking.

What size wedding cake will we need?

I recommend that you cater for approximately 80% of your wedding guests. I advise venues to cut the cakes into 1" x 1" finger portions, as the height of each cake is 5-6" tall. You can cater for more than you need if wished, or you can have 'dummy' cake tiers if you would like a statement cake and less portions.

Can you make cakes to suit dietary requirements?

I am able to cater for certain dietary requirements. However, all cakes are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens and I can never 100% guarantee that the cake will be 'free from' allergens. Please notify me of any dietary requirements and I will do my best to cater for you.
